ConTessa Blog Nominated for an ENnie!

The ConTessa blog just got nominated for a 2015 ENnie for Best Blog!

From the ENnie awards about page:

The Gen Con EN World RPG Awards (the “ENnies”) are an annual fan-based celebration of excellence in tabletop roleplaying gaming. The ENnies give game designers, writers and artists the recognition they deserve. It is a peoples’ choice award, and the final winners are voted upon online by the gaming public.

We haven't talked about this much, but when we relaunched the blog, it was with an eye towards quality, integrity, and useful content. To that end, Sarah Richardson put together a system to plan, schedule, track, and edit all of our posts. Ethel Buster became a key part to implementing this system by editing nearly every post that comes through. Our staff writers Ariana Ramos, Elizabeth Chaipraditkul, and Stephanie Bryant bring their own unique viewpoints and topics to the table, and thanks to them we have some really amazing content.

To all of the ConTessa staff and our guest writers: I can not thank all of you enough for making my vision into a reality. The time, effort, and passion you put into your work is spectacular, and I always look forward to each new addition. You're all great people, and I love seeing your ideas grow.

To all of our fans: You guys rock. Thanks for taking our ideas and running with them, spurring fantastic conversations, and reminding us that haters are gonna hate.

The best part about all of this is it keeps getting better. New guest writers, staff writers, series, subjects, interviews, and reviews are all in the pipeline. We aim to lower the barrier for getting into game development and GMing, support and promote women who create games, report on our favorite things in the hobby, introduce our readers to the fantastic people who make games, and fire up imaginations with new ideas and perspectives. We've got the right people to make that happen, and we're finding new voices every day.

Be sure to vote for us at the ENnies site starting on July 4th and running until July 14th
