Facilitated by Jacqueline Bates
An easy workshop on how to better get into character. Great for roleplaying, writing, performing, and mental health. No experience needed.
As written about in Gnome Stew: http://www.gnomestew.com/general/getting-into-character-with-easy-mental-exercise/ After introductions, attendees will say a short sentence as a fictional character I provide them. I will then guide the group through a short meditation. After the meditation, we will repeat our sentences again in order to compare performances. The focus is on how we feel in character. We will not be judged on our acting or performance skills.
